They recorded a 45 at the NJ B-Atlas Records location, catalog number B-260-A, called Treble Rock, and the B side, catalog number B-260-B, called The Crawl. I am now trying to preserve the 45 digitally to honor him, and I am hoping to present him any info about the studio from the past. Just thought I'd share with y'all!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13914686.post-30488144710599742902018-01-07T21:37:54.769-06:002018-01-07T21:37:54.769-06:00Could you please repost both sides of this? I suspect it was a song-poet-run operation a la Lutone or Kondas, with Ms De Grace herself pressing up the tracks she'd paid for.Roaratoriohttp://www.roaratorio.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13914686.post-69043189025182821332014-10-31T05:28:34.633-05:002014-10-31T05:28:34.633-05:00I found a reference to B-Atlas Records in the Sept...I found a reference to B-Atlas Records in the September 15, 1959 issue of "Billboard" magazine. The label was advertising for "Talent, Material and Masters". Their New Jersey headquarters was located at 49 Harrison Ave, West Orange, NJ. If the company was established in 1959, then I presume that this single would date from the early 1960's. Sometime in the mid 1960's B-Atlas merged with Jody Records.Graham Claytonhttp://www.wordclass.com.aunoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13914686.post-67821871819469785432014-10-30T18:23:10.777-05:002014-10-30T18:23:10.777-05:00The lameness abounds with this double sider... None of this could have ever been planned or even conceived, could it?Timmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09572040880471629009noreply@blogger.com
